DONE: Martin Charles McPhail and Martha Irene Mulvale
When Martin "Charles" McPhail was born in Welland, Ontario, Canada on September 18, 1902, his father, Archibald (1870-1941), was 32 and his mother, Cecelia (nee Garrow) (1876-1941), was 25. Charles had five brothers and four sisters.
A marriage record hasn't been located, but Charles married Martha "Irene" Mulvale. Ancestry.com has indexed Ontario marriages up to 1928 and 1933-1935 - as Charles and Irene were likely married in the intervening period, will have to wait until those records are made available.
Records suggest that when Martha Irene Mulvale was born on December 22, 1903, in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada, her father, Edward Joseph Mulvale (1875-1945), was 28, and her mother, Martha Marie (nee Geoghegan) (1876-1961), was 27.
Charles and Irene had four sons and two daughters including:

Voter's lists suggest the couple settled at 235 Province Street South in Hamilton, Ontario, within a few blocks of Charles' parents and his brother. Charles was a mechanic, and later a manager.

Charles Sr. died and was buried on November 21, 1971 at the age of 69. Irene died and was buried on June 4, 1985 at the age of 82. The couple are buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington, Ontario, Section 23, Row 6, Lot 78.
