DONE: John Joseph McPhail
When John Joseph McPhail was born in 1863 in Ontario, Canada, his father, John James McPhail (1838-1879), was 25 and his mother, Catherine Ann (nee McIntosh) (1845-?), was 18.
He had three brothers and three sisters.
This page is a placeholder - as I don't know what happened to John after the 1881 Census. It's possible he moved to Montreal with his family (his sister ended up there, one of his sisters followed, and his mother was there as well), but I haven't definitively been able to trace him yet.
I can say that he likely died before 1940, as his brother Archibald has not listed him as a surviving relative in his obituary.
